A training programme was organized by IFA for the newly recruited officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from June 20-August 29, 2016 (Asar 06 to Bhadra 13, 2073). A total of 55 Sessions were conducted by the related resource persons.
Foreign dignitaries were also invited as special guest lecturers to make the training programme likely and productive. Gen.(retd.) Ashok K. Mehta, a well known expert of India on the affairs of Nepal also spoke on Repairing Indo-Nepal Relations as a guest lecturer. American Ambassador to Nepal Her Excellency Ms. Alaina B Teplitz, Indian Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Ranjit Rae and Chinese Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Wu Chuntai also shed light on current relations with Nepal of their respective countries as Guest Lecturers.
Two courtesy visits to Rt. Hon’ble President and Rt. Hon’ble Vice-President were also organized for the officers on 23rd August and 29th August, 2016 respectively. Both the visits were led by the Executive Director of the Institute Prof. Dr. Panna Kaji Amatya.
